Sharepoint Consultant

Responsibilities:  

  • Understand and Analyze necessary requirements to be able to implement effectively for customer’s business needs
  • Design, create and implement custom webparts, .NET user Controls, customize Master Pages, Customize Layouts, Customize Event Handlers, Features, Solutions and templates to be used in Customer’s Sharepoint Environment
  • Integrate Non-Sharepoint related services into Sharepoint applications as needed
  • Participate in workshops to gather requirements and training sessions to customers
  • Create Functional specifications and Technical requirement documentation
  • Ensuring all assigned technical-related project deliverables and milestones are met on schedule and on budget with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct technical assessment and walkthroughs, plan and support system integration testing and/or performance testing, conduct technical and application support and maintenance

Requirements: 

  • Min 3 years of total IT experience
  • Required skill(s): .net development, SharePoint 2007/2010, MS SQL Server.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree or/and Master's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent
  • Able to work well in a Vendor project team environment
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
  • Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies
  • Strong IT development and Web Application development experience using latest .NET framework.
  • Solid IT Programming or analyst experience
  • Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership qualities: Attention to detail, Result oriented, ability to meet timeline, business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver under tight timelines and minimum supervision
  • Proactive in troubleshooting and isolating technical issues
  • Demonstrated initiative in learning required knowledge for the job
  • Experience in working with global partners
  • Flexible in working time, adventurous and willing to travel within the Asia Pacific region
  • Full-Time and Contract positions available
