Functional Consultant/Business Analyst (Learning Management Solution (LMS).
Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Perform business processes and requirements analysis and prepare related documentation.
- Serve as a Learning and Development (L&D) service consultant, dedicated to crafting and delivering impactful L&D strategies tailored to the needs of the stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with technical, project, and partner teams to transform client requirements into well-defined project specifications, outlining the efforts required for successful project delivery.
- Play an integral role in client engagements by delivering captivating presentations, showcasing demonstrations, and conducting training sessions for our products to clients
- Developing and implementing learning management systems, instructional design, and consulting on learning and development best practices
- Communicate with clients on various levels to obtain the necessary understanding on the business processes and requirements.
- Produce documents such as business blueprint documents, functional specifications documents, process flow diagrams, testing scripts and training materials.
- Prepare and conduct workshops for training, presentation, system demonstration, etc.
- Plan and conduct user acceptance tests and trainings to end users and provide application support.
- Apply structured problem-solving skills to evaluate problems, identify root causes, and come up with action plans and resolution options.
- Effectively communicate plans, findings, suggestions, and/or ideas with cross-functional team members and clients.
- Define implementation plan, monitor project progress, and conduct project status updates meeting for clients.
Requirements:
- Experience in Training & Development and Learning Management Systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Science & Technology, Social Science/Sociology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, equivalent or any IT related disciplines (Minimum bachelor or Post-graduate degrees)
- Strong Instructional Design skills and Strong knowledge in computer industry, technology fields and software development
- Ability to consult on learning and development best practices.
- Experience in facilitating and evaluating training programs.
- Experience in e-learning and blended learning.
- Strong knowledge in computer industry, technology fields and software development
- Strong proficiency in English, Malay & Chinese languages (written and spoken)
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in designing and developing training materials.
- Knowledge in SAP, SAAS, SABA & CSOD is an advantage
- Required to have a minimum of 3 years of experience working within vendor environment.
