Manager – PMO

Responsibilities

  1. Managing project resource planning, timeline, and ensuring processes are followed.
  2. Project Planning & Resource Management: Collaborate with the team to plan project timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and adjust plans when necessary to meet business goals.
  3. Process Enforcement: Ensure teams adhere to Agile practices, including quality assurance processes, to maintain consistency in deliverables and minimize deviations
  4. Risk Management: Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks by proactively addressing bottlenecks and removing blockers, ensuring project timelines and quality goals are met.
  5. Team Performance & Progress Tracking: Create and present velocity reports, progress metrics, and project forecasts based on team performance and budget alignment.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Encourage and guide the team in adopting Agile principles, improving efficiency, and delivering high-quality outcomes. Promote a culture of self-organization and accountability.
  7. Conflict Resolution & Team Support: Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts or frustrations within the team to maintain focus and harmony. Apply strong people skills to navigate and push for positive change.
  8. Backlog Management: Assist the Product Owner in organizing and refining the product/sprint backlog, ensuring tasks are prioritized based on value, impact, and risks.
  9. Client Communication: Work closely with stakeholders and clients, managing expectations and ensuring project goals align with their vision and requirements
  10. Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and motivation
  11. Business acumen, able to align technical solutions with business objectives
  12. Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  13. Teamwork and collaboration, fostering a cooperative team environment.
  14. Supporting the team by mitigating risks, balancing capacity, establishing a clear overview of team deliveries and progress and ensuring achievements by keeping the team on track to meet goals.
  15. Proactively responding to team issues and motivating and coaching the team to strive towards high performance and ensuring a healthy group dynamic within a distributed environment.
  16. Scrum Facilitation: Lead and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other key Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective collaboration

Requirement

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience working in a digital industry (e.g., software development, SaaS, digital marketing, digital transformation) and minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience as a Scrum Master.
  3. Demonstrated experience managing Scrum teams or software project management.
  4. Excellent proficiency in English with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  5. A strong passion for technology and interest in custom software development.
  6. Proven ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and take initiative to remove bottlenecks or seize new opportunities.
  7. Ambition to grow professionally and contribute to the organization’s success.
  8. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is a plus.
  9. A certified Scrum Master with an innovative and agile mindset, enabling you to employ appropriate coaching and development techniques to create a high-performing team and proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
  10. Experience in Product Management is an advantage.
  11. Able to communicate clearly, even when addressing sensitive matters, while ensuring a healthy and sustainable team and work culture
  12. Have good facilitation, negotiation, coaching, and relationship-building skills as well as situational leadership skills that enable you to navigate and help your team(s).
  13. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach team members.
  14. Ability to identify and remove obstacles to ensure the team can deliver on its commitments.
  15. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and find creative solutions.
  16. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
